The Cleveland Cavaliers players will have their championship ring ceremony when they open the 2016/17 campaign at home to the New York Knicks on October 26.
For LeBron James, it will be his third after two with the Miami Heat, but for the majority of their roster ,it will be a brand new experience.
But the players and coaches will not be the only people receiving rings after it was reported by cleveland.com that Dan Gilbert would be thanking ever single employee of the organisation during the previous campaign.
Joe Vardon's article read: "Majority owner Dan Gilbert and his partners decided to present rings to more than 1,000 full and part-time employees throughout the Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena organization...
"A conservative cost for distributing rings to employees is more than $1 million."
Of course, the lower-level employees will not be receiving the same customised rings as the players but it is still a great gesture from the owner to remember the greatest campaign in the franchise's history.
The Cavs pride themselves on being a family organisation and Gilbert is really thinking of every person with this new initiative. It's great to see.
