Y2J could be sticking around.

Chris Jericho could extend his stay with WWE

The WWE Universe have all been doing one thing over the past few months, and that is drinking in the gift of Jericho, and if they haven't been doing that, they are going to get.....IT.

Jericho is enjoying one of his best stints with the company, and instead of putting over talent like Fandango, he's actually important to WWE and the current storylines.

Everything Y2J is doing on Monday Night Raw is gold. His comedic value is vital for a three-hour show, and his actual in-ring ability still shows no signs of decreasing.

With his expensive scarfs, his list of Jericho, and his brilliant promos, Jericho is a real asset to WWE right now, and it comes as no surprise that officials want him to stick around for a bit longer.

Jericho has been a part-time feature for WWE over the past few years, leaving and then coming back on a regular basis, but according to Ringside News, people backstage are desperate to keep the veteran on for longer this time around.

As reported earlier this week, Jericho was initially expected to leave following Monday Night Raw's next Pay-Per-View Hell In A Cell, but that date could be pushed further back.

In fact, his departure could be pushed back to late December as he is being advertised for Raw in Chicago, which takes place December 26.

Jericho is currently helping his best friend Kevin Owens defend his Universal Championship, and with both of them truly over with the audience, it's no surprise that WWE doesn't want to split them up.

However, the bad news is that this could be just a one-off appearance for Y2J, rather than him sticking around from now until then.

We certainly hope he sticks around, and the WWE Universe will surely feel the same.
