How would you react if an online opponent scored a 46-yard free-kick against you on FIFA 17?

Before you insist that you wouldn’t ragequit, what about if the virtual player who scored the free-kick was Barcelona centre-back Jeremy Mathieu?

Because that’s precisely what happened to one FIFA 17 player, who couldn’t control his anger after watching the French defender’s ridiculous free-kick fly past Keylor Navas in the Real Madrid goal. (Scroll down this page to watch the video).

Navas didn’t move and the ball was in the back of the net.

A classic case of ragequitting - although in this instance, can you really blame the lad?

Goal uploaded the video to their Instagram account and added a funny short video of a baby laughing at the end. Nice touch.

Things aren't going as well for Mathieu in real life

While Mathieu is capable of scoring insane 46-yard free-kicks on FIFA 17, things didn’t go quite so well for the Barça player in real life over the weekend.

The 32-year-old scored a comical own goal to send Celta Vigo into a shock 3-0 lead over the Catalan giants on Sunday night.

Gerard Pique almost bailed out his centre-back partner with two goals in the second half while Neymar also scored from the penalty spot, but Celta held on to secure a famous 4-3 victory.
