What's next for Brock Lesnar? What's next for Goldberg?

Two massive questions currently circulating around the WWE Universe, but according to recent murmurs, the two could be crossing paths sooner rather than later.

Lesnar, who is very much a part-time figure with WWE these days, has just finished his feud with Randy Orton, comfortably defeating him twice, with the initial match taking place at SummerSlam, and the rematch taking place at a house show.

As for Goldberg, he hasn't been seen in a WWE ring for some time now, but with his relationship with the company now steadily improving, it's becoming more and more likely that he'll make a dramatic return.

The issues between Goldberg and WWE over the years have been well documented, but the two parties have seemingly reached mutual ground, and that could see the 49-year-old return to the squared circle.

So with Goldberg reportedly coming back, and Lesnar looking for his next feud, it could so happen that the two cross paths and meet for just the second time in WWE.

The two put on a less-than-memorable match at WrestleMania 20, with the crowd letting them know just how they felt about them both leaving the company, but a rematch several years later would certainly spark mass interest.

WWE SummerSlam 2015

Well, according to good 'ol Jim Ross, the WWE Universe might not have to wait much longer.

The former WWE commentator tweeted the following: 'Another source says that @Goldberg vs @BrockLesnar is a done deal and that it will likely go down at #SurvivorSeries. If true, bravo @wwe'

Survivor Series takes place November 20, and with it being the first big Pay-Per-View since the brand split, WWE will certainly want to make it one to remember.

Having Lesnar face Goldberg is certainly one way of doing that, and the latter responded to the rumours by sending a tweet of his own.

He posted: 'Reading the Internet.... you never know who to believe do you? #WhosNext'
