Last week, news broke that former WWE superstar Jamie Noble had been stabbed outside his house and was in critical condition in a nearby hospital.

Despite the shocking news, things remained rather quiet on his condition and there were very few updates regarding his health.

However, last night, Noble issued an update, and has confirmed he's okay, but detailed exactly what happened, and why he ended up being stabbed.

It emerged that the former wrestler suffered a collapsed lung following the knife attack, but is in a stable condition now.

Following the attack, Noble has taken to his official Facebook page to post an update on his condition and also post about what happened.

He wrote: “I was viciously attacked in my front yard.

"One coward got out of the car saying I pushed him off the road. I immediately apologize because I was on the road all week and just that night alone I got off work Tuesday night and drove from Cleveland to Princeton so I could have been tired and drifted over the yellow line.”

“In the middle of this madness one coward pulls a knife stabbing me once through the back middle near the spin. The blade went between my ribs and hit my lung. I still tried to fight back and then they tried to cut my throat. I was able to get them to miss the throat and rip my shoulder open.”

Noble then continued by stating how his girlfriend ran out their house to come to his aid, which is when the attack stopped. He then had to undergo immediate surgery because one of his lungs was filling up with blood.

He added: “Good news is I’m getting a little better everyday. And I will be back on my feet 100% soon.”

Noble also offered a cash reward to anyone who could name the attackers, offering up to $700 if they get caught and if they are the right two.

“I need help from my FB family, I need you to share this with everyone you can. Somebody knows something, or heard something, saw something that can help me get these criminals because the law isn’t going to.

"Please ask, listen, anything that can help me just get one name. Just one. This could have been my 63 year old dad or my 16 year old boy … can you even imagine that???? I can’t.

"I’ll also pay $200 for a name and if it turns out legit I’ll give you another $500 cash. Please share this with every friend you have and me get a name.”
