Since making his debut on the WWE main roster over a year ago with his feud with John Cena, many predicted Kevin Owens would be destined for huge success and may even one day become WWE Champion.
At the end of August, he made that prediction come true when he won the WWE Universal Championship, a title which he successfully defended at Clash of Champions two weeks ago against Seth Rollins.
Owens has been recognised by many as an extraordinary talent, and he has now been recognised for his achievements in the WWE by his own country's Parliament which is pretty cool, as you can see in the video further down in this article.

Matthew Dube, a member of Canadian Parliament for the electoral district of Chambly—Borduas in Quebec, the region where Owens is from, spoke in French to the house and praised the Universal Champion for his accomplishments and dominance in the WWE, comparing him to the likes of Pat Patterson, Maurice ‘Mad Dog’ Vachon, Bret Hart, Chris Jericho, and of course his trainer, Jacques Rougeau.
Dube said his constituents and himself couldn't be prouder of what he has achieved and that they wish him all the best for the future, which received a standing ovation from those around him in Parliament.
Owens replied to Dube's comments on Twitter, saying in French if he ever needed help on Raw he would let him know.
Monday Night Raw is becoming The Kevin Owens Show, and the whole of Canada is backing him for much more success in the future. He'll probably receive his next shout out from the Canadian Parliament when he headlines and wins the main event at WrestleMania.
