When you are a WWE Hall of Famer, you are guaranteed to have memorable moments and career highlights, and for Edge, the pinnacle of his career was his main event match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 24.

The Rated-R Superstar has had a glittering career with World Wrestling Entertainment, and unfortunately for the WWE Universe, it was cut short due to a neck injury.

However, Edge still has fond memories to look back on, spanning back to his tag team days with Christian, and right up until his last ever match at WrestleMania 27.

Edge is an 11-time WWE Champion, and won a whole host of other belts during his time with the company, but in a recent interview, he has discussed the highlight of his career.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Edge discussed his 'Mania match with Taker, and he admitted that it was the pinnacle of his career.

He said: “It’s interesting, I never got stressed before wrestling matches. I always felt completely confident that I had done everything I could do, all my mental preparations when I sat down and envisioned the match, so I never felt stressed.

"But that is the one that if someone said, ‘What is the pinnacle of your career?’, then it would be main-eventing WrestleMania against The Undertaker.

"That has to be the top, but thankfully there were a lot of moments that were just as rewarding”

Edge was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2012, and following his retirement from in-ring action, he's been making a mark in acting, as well as hosting his own show alongside Christian on the WWE Network.

Despite still clearly loving the industry, Edge remains a spectator and refuses to return to either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown LIVE frequently because he doesn't feel he is needed, especially if he can't get into physical altercations.

However, there is no doubt that he would still receive a huge pop should he make a return one day.
