WWE may have spoiled Dolph Ziggler's match at No Mercy

Published Add your comment

Dolph Ziggler will be going hard or going home tonight at No Mercy, as he has a Career vs Title match against The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship. Simply put, if Ziggler loses, his WWE career is over.

Odds at the moment currently can't separate the two competitors in this bout, giving them both an equal chance of winning. However, recent posts on social media of Ziggler saying goodbye to WWE employees suggests he might actually lose this clash.

A report by Wrestling Inc has also further supported this outcome after a preview for next week's Tuesday night SmackDown Live was released to several cable providers, including DirecTV.

The report states that the preview says: "From San Jose. A recap of No Mercy, including the three-way battle for world champion; and a look at Dolph Ziggler's exit from WWE." This further promotes the idea that The Showoff will lose at No Mercy.

Recent rumors have also suggested that WWE officials want the former world champion to take a backstage role in the company, so No Mercy could be the last time we see Ziggler compete in a WWE ring, or at least on SmackDown as there are some suggestions he could move to Raw as well.

All of this has to be taken with a pinch of salt until we see the final result at the pay-per-view, but there have been talks of Ziggler moving on from the WWE for some time now, so tonight could very well be his final curtain call with the company.

We'll just have to wait and see.
