Amidst the media circus surrounding Tyson Fury in recent weeks, that have seen the controversial star test positive for cocaine on two occasions, close friend and fellow boxer Billy Joe Saunders has said that he is scared he might take his own life.
The 'Gypsy King' has been battling depression and was forced to pull out of the planned rematch with Wladimir Klitschko, with his trainer and uncle Peter Fury claiming he was 'mentally unfit'.
Fury is now waiting to learn the results of the BBBofC's hearing, which is planned for today, as he potentially faces having his titles and even his boxing license stripped off him.

Saunders, however, argues that such an outcome could have potentially catastrophic effects on Fury's personal and mental well-being given the stars current emotional state.
Talking to the BBC, Saunders argued that he is worried about his friend: "I reckon it would be a big, big mistake taking his boxing license away from him because it's like taking food from a baby, they can't grow, they can't mature.
"He needs his boxing license to pull through what he's going through now. He's in a considerably bad, bad place.
"Two weeks ago I genuinely feared [I] was going to get a phone call to say he has ended his life."
Despite this, Saunders believes that Fury has begun to turn a corner:
"This last week or so he's starting to get a grip again. He has good people around him and he's getting the right help.
"But if his license gets taken away from him, I genuinely fear for him. I don't know which way he'll go."
Fury seems set to have his World Heavyweight titles stripped from him, but the state of his boxing license remains up in the air.
This is clearly a decision the BBBofC cannot take lightly.
