The original plans for the PPV was to have just two matches inside Hell In A Cell, but this past week on Raw, those plans were changed, and according to Wrestling News Source, the plans were changed a few days ago.
Up until a few days ago, the plan for Hell In A Cell was to have just two matches inside the cell, with the United States Championship match being one of them, and the Women's Championship match being the other.
So the two cell matches were just supposed to be Roman Reigns vs Rusev for the US Championship, and for the first time in WWE's history, Sasha Banks and Charlotte for the Women's Championship.
However, that has been changed and now there will be a third match inside the cell, and that will be the Universal Championship match between Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens.
It does make sense to have that match inside the cell as it's likely to be the main event, and it will also prevent others from getting involved, like Chris Jericho and even perhaps, Triple H.
