When ranking the most frustrating things in the world, conceding a penalty against your mate on FIFA 17 is right up there.
At least, though, when the referee points to the spot you get the chance to wipe the smile off their face by producing a worldie save - even if your 'keeper has been given his marching orders.
Or, at least, that should be the case. However, in the latest FIFA 17 glitch to make its way into the public domain - seen in a video posted below - something has gone drastically wrong. It won't take you long to figure it out what it is...
The in-game footage comes courtesy of Twitter user @Wedlock and, fortunately for him, it looks like he is the one who benefited from one of the strangest penalties you're likely to see - in the real or virtual world.
You have to feel sorry for whoever was supposed to be in control of the goalkeeper when Kyle Walker stepped up...
Now, it's not for us to start dishing out tactics to every football manager or FIFA 17 player out there. However, we do have to say that not employing a goalkeeper to try and keep a penalty out might be a little on the risky side.
Of course, with the footage showing Kasper Schmeichel making a beeline for the changing room after his sending off, the number one was never going to be able to remain between the sticks.
Usually, though, a 'keeper red card gives FIFA players the rare delight of getting to try and save a penalty with an outfield player.
Clearly this particular version of EA Sports' popular game wasn't about to let that happen, however.
Instead, it was a simple tap in for the user. Poor bloke was 5-0 down at the time, too.
Although every single person watching the video above was probably still hoping to see Walker somehow miss the target as he was running up to strike the ball.
With red card glitches, bizarre goal-mouth scrambles and crazy celebrations already coming to light in recent days, FIFA 17 is certainly throwing up more than its fair share of strange moments alongside the game play fans have come to know and love.
