It's been quite a memorable few months for WWE superstar Paige, but seemingly for all the wrong reasons.
She's been pushed down the roster due to the emergence of Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch, and despite the brand split giving more superstars a chance to shine, she was simply not one of them.
Then came the first violation of the Wellness Policy. Along with her boyfriend, former WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio, Paige served a 30-day suspension, sparking doubts over her future with the company.

Then came further doubts as Del Rio officially left WWE after agreeing to terminate his contract with the company.
That decision came as no surprise, and it probably should have come as no surprise that Paige then suffered yet another suspension, this time being banned for 60-days.
After being very public about her thoughts and feelings towards Del Rio, the WWE, and her suspensions, Paige's future with the company has been a long-running debate.
Some are shocked she is still employed by WWE, whilst others feel that she has been unfairly treated by the company due to her relationship with Del Rio.
However, it has since been revealed why she has not been sacked by the company, and that's due to her neck injury.
It's been well documented that Paige has serious neck issues, which could keep her sidelined for over a year, but that is the reason behind her staying employed with the company, according to NoDQ.
WWE and Paige have both been going back and forth over her injury problems, which led to her own Dad hitting out at the company, but as it stands, whilst Paige is still receiving treatment for her neck, from a public relations perspective, it would look bad on WWE to fire an employee who is currently dealing with a serious problem.
It's said if Paige wasn't getting treatment for her neck, then WWE would have fired her by now.
