Alexis Sanchez was in scintillating form for Arsenal against Ludogorets this evening.

It was the mercurial Chilean who scored the opening goal of the match in the 12th minute - with THIS sublime dinked finish - as the floodgates opened at the Emirates Stadium.

Sanchez may not have scored or assisted any of the other five goals Arsenal bagged tonight, but he did produce one stunning no-look pass in the second half.

The Gunners were 4-0 up and cruising when Sanchez, 25 yards from goal, took out the entire Ludogorets defence with a scooped pass.

The South American channelled his inner Ronaldinho by looking away as he played the ball straight into the path of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who was unfortunately unable to apply the finish. The English winger’s strike was well saved by Vladislav Stoyanov.

Ozil takes the headlines

Although Sanchez produced two moments of real quality, it was Mesut Ozil who’ll dominate the headlines in tomorrow morning’s newspapers thanks to an excellent second-half hat-trick.

Theo Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain scored the other two goals on an excellent night for Arsene Wenger’s side.
