After leaving his commentary role with WWE, good ol' JR spends his time making delicious BBQ sauce and also blogging about the current state of World Wrestling Entertainment.

In a recent blog, Jim Ross touched upon The Undertaker and his current status for WrestleMania 33, which takes place in April of next year.

There has been no talk about what plans WWE have for The Deadman this time around, with only rumours flying around that it could be The Undertaker vs John Cena, but there were fears that he might not make it to 'Mania at all.

Pictures emerged last week of the 51-year-old using crutches to help him get around, and the WWE Universe were quick to question his physical well-being and his fitness.

Despite WrestleMania still being a good six months away, fans were starting to wonder whether his Hell In A Cell match with Shane McMahon would be his last.

However, according to Jim Ross' latest blog, that is not the case as the former commentator believes the icon will be at 'Mania 33 next year.

It later emerged that Taker was using crutches after undergoing hip surgery, news that will delight all WWE fans, and according to JR, they should expect to see The Deadman come April.

He posted: “Regarding the litany of Undertaker questions that we have received both here on our site and via Facebook and Twitter @JRsBBQ, the Deadman apparently had a minor hip procedure completed recently.

WWE SummerSlam 2015

"This procedure will have little to no bearing on Taker performing at WM33 in Orlando next April based on what I know. It also doesn’t mean that Taker will compete on the grand stage in 2017, but at this point I’d be surprised if he didn’t.

"If the next Wrestlemania is Taker’s last one, then one has to assume that WWE will do nothing but capitalize on this golden opportunity to market the career and accomplishments of the Undertaker with an historic weekend.

"To this entire matter, one can merely say. Stay tuned.”

Jim Ross doing his best to excite the WWE Universe and keep them intrigued regarding The Undertaker's future and status for next year's WrestleMania.
