Simon Mignolet recently admitted to feeling "hurt" by being dropped as Liverpool's No.1 goalkeeper.
The Belgian has been displaced by summer signing Loris Karius between the sticks and hasn't made an appearance for Jurgen Klopp's side since last month's 2-1 victory over Chelsea.
He now has a fight on his hands to regain his place, but with Liverpool fourth and on a six-game unbeaten run in the Premier League, his chances are slight.

"Every time you sit on the bench it hurts," Mignolet told reporters during the international break.
"I'm also a lot more nervous on the bench than on the pitch. But the intention is to play again as soon as possible.
"I didn't play the last two weeks and I don't want it to be any longer."
With first-team opportunities at a premium for Mignolet, he must find another way to impress and convince Klopp of reinstating him.
And the 28-year-old believes he might have found the answer - in the form of a motivational, yet bizarre, workout montage (see below).
The video, titled "Some say bench warming, I say bench pressing!", features Mignolet performing a number of gym exercises in order to maintain match fitness.
It's a cringeworthy watch, but Liverpool fans are absolutely loving it. Here's some of the best Twitter reaction.
Some fans aren't so convinced of Migolet's commitment, though.
Despite feeling "hurt", Mignolet remains positive and believes his early-season form will eventually see him given another chance.
"I still feel confident because of my good league start," he added. "Against Arsenal, Tottenham and Leicester I have been important for the team by making some good saves.
"I don't know what the coach will decide. I can just prepare myself 100 per cent. Whether I play or not, nothing will change my match preparation. It is not in my character to not give 100 per cent."
