How to solve a problem like Roman Reigns?
WWE have had the Reigns conundrum for too long now. Should he be a face? Should he be a heel? How on earth do they book him so that he's over with the crowd?
Right from the start, it was very clear that WWE wanted Reigns to be their next top guy, their next John Cena, but sadly for Vince McMahon and co., the WWE Universe didn't allow it.

Ever since The Shield split up, Reigns would be booed out of arenas and because of that, WWE's plans of having him as the face of the company were put on the shelf.
Sure he's had a few title runs and won the Royal Rumble, but all of it has been forgettable, which is why he's currently the United States Champion, rather than the Universal Champion.

However, due to his feud with Rusev and Lana, and because he's not in the main event picture, it seems like the tide could be turning for Reigns, with fans seemingly being won over.
Unfortunately for Reigns, it's taken a lot longer than it should have, and it's something that doesn't only frustrate him, but also frustrates his colleagues.
Speaking to Digital Spy.com to promote WWE's upcoming UK tour, The Big Show discussed Reigns' status with the company and his reputation with the crowd, and even he admitted that it's frustrating to see him get booed.
Show, who has over a decade of experience in WWE, revealed why the company chose Reigns to be the next big guy, and why he's at the top of the food chain in their eyes.
He said: “It does frustrate me when they start giving guys grief.
"'Roman Reigns shouldn't get a push and THIS guy should get a push'. Well, the reason that so-and-so's not getting a push is because he can't sell tickets. 35,000 smart fans around the world like this guy... that's fine. But the other millions around the world aren't into that guy yet.
"Roman works the best when he's got somebody bigger to attack him. I thought his stuff he did with Brock was amazing at Mania.
"I think Roman has a lot of all the right pieces to make everything work. I just think it's our society nowadays to pick on the guy that's good-looking, that's athletic, that's actually getting a break. But let's give credit where credit's due.
"The kid's a hard-working kid, he's a hell of an athlete, he's got a great look and in the ring his timing's good. That was one of the things that he worked well with me because matches with me are really simple: If you treat me like a giant and you sell, I make your life easy."
