Alan Pardew proves he isn't quite an NFL expert

Alan Pardew appears to be a fan of the NFL, regularly appearing at the International Series games that take place in London.

Well, the Crystal Palace manager is in attendance today at Twickenham to see the New York Giants take on the Los Angeles Rams at the Cathedral of Rugby, and he seems to be enjoying it.

Pardew was interviewed by the BBC during the first half of the game, but will be wishing he hadn't, after one particularly embarrassing moment while discussing American Football. Scroll down to see it.

There's a very good reason we purposefully called the NFL 'American Football" there, and Alan will show you why in this video clip of his touchline interview.

"It's so different," Pardew stated. "It's almost like a foreign sport."

It's not "like" a foreign sport, Alan. It is a foreign sport. That's why people in the United Kingdom call it American Football. Focus on the American part of that.

Crystal Palace lost 3-1 to Leicester City yesterday and Pardew took his second L of the weekend today at Twickenham.
