There are mixed feelings towards the impending Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg match which is set to take place at the Survivor Series pay-per-view next month.
While the reaction Goldberg receives suggests otherwise, there are those that are sceptical of the whole thing.
WRESTLEMANIA XX REMATCH
It's difficult to blame them, though, considering how poorly received their first encounter was back at WrestleMania XX when both stars left the company after Goldberg had won.

Ric Flair doesn’t understand why this match is taking place, as it is quite dangerous for Goldberg to compete after so long against someone as intense as Lesnar.
However, there does seem to be a lot on the line in this match, not just pride.
If Lesnar manages to defeat Goldberg in Toronto, then The Beast Incarnate will become the first man in history to beat the former World Heavyweight Champion clean in a one on one match.
In fact, Goldberg has actually never lost any match in clean fashion.
The last big loss on his record took place back at the Armageddon pay-per-view in 2003 when he put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Triple H and Kane in a triple threat match.
Kane hit a chokeslam on the champion, before Batista pulled The Big Red Machine out of the ring, allowing Triple H to cover Goldberg and snatch the crown.
CHANCE TO MAKE HISTORY
The following event is what kicked off the bitter rivalry between Lesnar and Goldberg.
After Lesnar had hit an F5 on Goldberg in the middle of the ring, a distraction led to Kurt Angle eliminating him from the match.
Goldberg responded at No Way Out by helping Eddie Guerrero become the new WWE Champion, and now Lesnar has his chance at redemption and can make history, and it’s certainly another big honour for Lesnar.
He’s been built up as this beast that cannot be beaten since conquering the streak, and it’s widely expected that Lesnar will exact revenge on his long-time rival; another huge achievement he should be proud of.
Not only that, this is Lesnar’s perfect opportunity to finally pick up a win at Survivor Series.
In two attempts, he failed against Team Angle and a year earlier; Paul Heyman turned on him to help The Big Show capture the WWE Championship.
This is Lesnar’s golden opportunity to finally win at the historic event, and a win over Goldberg further solidifies his reputation as one of the greatest of all time.
