If you don't remember the name Demitrius Bronson then no one can blame you.

However, you might be hearing it for a long time now, but for a reason that is completely unrelated to the NFL career that he tried to have.

This is after it was announced today that the former Seattle Seahawks running back had been signed by the WWE to a developmental contract.

Here is what the WWE wrote about Bronson in their statement that went out a few hours ago.

"Demitrius Bronson (Gilbert, Arizona) – Standing 5-foot-11 and weighing 215 pounds, Bronson played running back for the Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins. Prior to his NFL experience, he attended Eastern Washington University where he played football and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree."

After spending the 2014 season on the Seahawks practice squad, as well as some time with the Miami Dolphins, Bronson had to make ends meet by working as a baker at a Costco in Washington.

He won't be doing any more baking for a while now as he looks to impress the WWE coaches down in Florida to try and work his way onto NXT and potentially even Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live in the future.
