Throughout his managerial career, Jose Mourinho hasn’t been afraid to ostracise some of his players at his past clubs.
Iker Casillas at Real Madrid and Juan Mata have both fallen victim of Mourinho’s harsh treatment at Real Madrid and Chelsea respectively, while there are already some players that feel hard done by at Manchester United.
Mourinho has wasted no time in banishing Bastian Schweinsteiger to the reserves, while he’s given Morgan Schneiderlin and Henrikh Mkhitaryan very few opportunities.
But another player that has been left out of United’s squad in recent weeks is Luke Shaw.
The left-back missed almost the entirety of last season after suffering a broken leg in September but he started this campaign impressively and looked to have made a full recovery.
However, after being publicly slammed for his display against Watford by Mourinho during the 3-1 defeat in September this season, he’s barely featured for the club since.
While we don’t know how Shaw feels about this, we’re now fully aware of how his brother feels.
That’s because a series of tweets have been brought to our attention by 101 Great Goals that question both Mourinho and United player Marcos Rojo.
Shaw's brothers' tweets
He posted these tweets during United’s 4-0 defeat to Chelsea but has later been deleted from his account.
Yeah, he doesn’t sound too happy, does he?
Shaw will be hoping to be involved in tonight’s massive clash against Manchester City in the EFL as he attempts to get back into Mourinho’s good book.
After his public criticism following the Watford loss, Shaw said: “I’m a grown man and I can take what the manager said.
"I’m still young and I need to take on what he said and improve.”
Shaw will be hoping Mourinho doesn’t see the abuse from his brother on Twitter or else he may find it even tougher to make his way into the first-team.
