Russell Westbrook was only one assist away from recording a triple-double last night as he led the Oklahoma City Thunder to an opening night victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The point guard had 32 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists in Philly, but how did he prepare for OKC's first opening night without Kevin Durant in 10 years?

The night before, his former teammate suited up for the Golden State Warriors for the first time and was on the embarrassing end of a blowout loss to the San Antonio Spurs, 100-129.

Maybe Russ caught some of KD's debut the night before his own game?

"Nah," he said when asked by reporters following a shootaround on Wednesday whether he had watched any basketball the from the night before.

When asked whether he'd seen any scores from Tuesday, of which there were only three, Westbrook gave the same concise answer.

"Nah."

But the two-time All-Star MVP was all too happy to detail what he did actually get up to.

"I played cards, man," Westbrook said. "I was just chilling, minding my own business, eating a nice dinner, talking to my wife on the phone."

"Took a nice shower," Westbrook continued. "I used Dove soap. Brushed my teeth, washed my face and went to sleep. Put a movie on before I went to sleep, and that's what I did."

It's safe to say, Russ is not thinking about KD.
