Two rookie quarterbacks have shined since the start of the season, Dallas Cowboys' Dak Prescott, and Philadephia Eagles' Carson Wentz. The two together have a record of 9-3, 15 touchdowns, two interceptions and a 98.2 passer rating, which is pretty incredible.
Both have managed to find themselves in the spotlight thanks to situations with their presumed starting quarterback at the beginning of the season (Sam Bradford being traded to the Minnesota Vikings at the Eagles and Tony Romo being injured at the Cowboys), and they have taken full advantage of those circumstances.
Due to their promising start to their career, some have said the two could be the next big rivalry in the NFL as they face off for the first time this weekend. Some have even drawn comparisons between the two and the epic clashes between New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and the retired Peyton Manning.

"And I have a high respect for Dak, too. ... You're talking about a guy who is a poised quarterback, he knows what it means to be a leader, he knows what it means to be game-planned for. And I feel like Carson is the same way. The thing I love about Carson is he has that same ability but he also has a chip on his shoulder.

"So you're talking about two guys that could potentially be like a Brady and Peyton rivalry. The only difference is, you're going to get this two times a year, and possibly playoffs."
It's going to be some time before Prescott and Wentz ever reach the level Brady and Manning have managed to achieve in their careers, but from what we have seen so far this season, it certainly could happen at some point in the future.
Both have taken advantage of their opportunity under center and have proven themselves to be worthy starters, giving their teams winning records after six games (Eagles 4-2, Cowboys 5-1). With them both being divisional rivals, and as so long as they keep up this quality of play, this could be an exciting match up we see for many years to come.
