It's been quite a hectic time for World Wrestling Entertainment over the past few years.
Massive changes have been taking place with improvements being made from the ground up. The introduction of NXT, the new performance centre, the WWE Network, and then the WWE Draft which saw Monday Night Raw and SmackDown LIVE separate.
Due to that brand split, SmackDown LIVE also became, well, live. Instead of being filmed on Tuesday nights and aired on Thursdays, the blue brand is now live on Tuesday, the night after Raw.

Today was another important day for the company as they held their third quarter earnings call, where they discussed all the finances and the money made in said quarter.
During the call, McMahon was asked about the future of WWE and whether he'd be interested in selling the company.
Somewhat surprisingly, McMahon admitted that they are open to business, but they are adamant on controlling their own destiny, something he stressed was very important.
It would come as a massive surprise if McMahon was to sell WWE, especially as it's been in his family for generations, but as the call continued, he reiterated that they are business people and if an offer was made that would turn their heads, then they would consider it.
McMahon continued to admit that due to being business people, they would listen to offers that were considered 'too good to refuse', but once again insisted that they want to control their own destiny.
The same investor then asked would they be interested if they received an offer which would allow them to control their own destiny, to which McMahon replied with: "We're open for business."
