Formula One champions Mercedes are set to continue their domination on the track and are on course to win their third consecutive title this season.
Despite both their drivers being in contention for the title, the rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg is quickly turning antagonistic.
The latest development regarding the matter has seen the Brit trolling his teammate through an Instagram post that shows a video of the duo as cartoon characters racing each other.

As it was Hamilton who posted the video, somewhat unsurprisingly, it ends with the Brit blowing smoke into the face of the German as he speeds away.
The 31-year-old captioned the post saying: “Not sure who did this but it’s amazing. Great work.”

Rosberg leads Hamilton in the Drivers’ Championship by 26 points after the reigning champion closed the gap with a scintillating victory in the United States Grand Prix last weekend.
Speaking on the potential title-winning campaign, Rosberg admitted that he is gearing up for a dramatic conclusion to the year.
The Sun quoted him saying: “It has been a great season so far which has put me in this position. It is exciting to be in the championship battle with Lewis towards the end of the season.
“We’ve been there before but it is very cool.
“But I have said before my way of achieving the best performance is to focus on the things within my control and that here in Mexico is to try to win the race.”
On the opposition corner, Hamilton is ready to defend his title with his physical prowess on the track as well as with his mental stability till the end.
He said: “I’m going for it, that’s for sure. While my heart is still beating, I still have that drive to win, and there’s still an opportunity, even if it’s only 1%, I’m going to be going for it.
“If there’s any time for me to be the best I’ve ever been, it’s these last three races.”

Hamilton suffered three engine failures this term that severely ruined his chances of sweeping the title ahead of his peers. Now with only three races remaining, the conclusion will be a highly anticipated clash between titans.
Rosberg might not retaliate to such actions of his teammate but will hope to deliver on the track.
Although they have known each other since their teenage years, the two share a bittersweet rivalry which could take an ugly turn come the end of the present season.
