Mario Balotelli's spell at Nice was always going to be pretty much make or break.
The Italian has finally taken refuge in Ligue 1 after a difficult few years in the Premier League, but he's taken to French football with flying colours so far.
In fact, he's helped Nice to the top of the table after finding the back of the net once again versus Nantes - his seventh goal in his last seven games.

The former Liverpool flop has already had his ups and downs on the South Coast of France, including a sending off against Lorient at the start of October.
Overall, however, Lucien Favre will be delighted with how the striker's performed since his arrival in the summer.
In this latest show of brilliance, 'Balo' put his side 2-0 up with a lovely finish after a great run into the box, before topping it all off with a humble bow to the fans.
Balo strikes again
Just take a look - he makes it all look so easy.
To be fair, the 26-year-old has had a lot to be humble about given his form in recent years. In a whole year at Liverpool, he scored a grand total of one goal, and had exactly the same return when he went on loan at AC Milan.
If it were anyone else, you'd think those kind of shortcomings might have brought him down a peg or two - but this is Mario Balotelli we're talking about here.
Whatever happened at Liverpool, he seems unaffected - only a few months back, he was still talking about winning the Ballon d'Or. One step at a time, Mario.
"On the scale of 0 to 10, I stopped at five, but I'll get to 10 eventually," he told Corriera della Sera, per Sky Sports.
"I want to get there. I will win the Ballon d'Or.
"I know, the Ballon d'Or might seem laughable and I might not have done everything to be the best, but the important thing is I realised it's not too late."
Admittedly, Ligue 1 might not be the strongest league in Europe, but it's clear that a switch to Nice has given the forward the kind of confidence he needed to thrive again.
Balotelli's back scoring, and it's no wonder the Nice fans love him already.
