Bastian Schweinsteiger has returned to first-team training with Manchester United.
It's been a long and arduous few months for the German, but it would seem Jose Mourinho has finally come to his senses and given him a chance to prove his worth.
And rightly so. Since being demoted to working with the Under-23s in August - and later told to train by himself - Schweinsteiger has worked tirelessly on the training ground and earned his keep.

His recall might even come as a welcome boost to United, who are yet to find a midfield partner for Paul Pogba and haven't won in the Premier League since September 24.
The reaction to Schweinsteiger's return has been that of shock and delight, with United's official Instagram account posting an image of the 32-year-old in training earlier today (see below).
WELCOME BACK, BASTI
Comments quickly flooded in from fans expressing their happiness at Schweinsteiger joining Wayne Rooney and co. at Carrington, with former teammate Michael Ballack also getting involved.
In the below screenshot, the former Bayern Munich and Chelsea midfielder said: "Right where you should be."
Ballack also tweeted Schweinsteiger directly.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
It's far too early to suggest a return to competitive action for Schweinsteiger, but with Ander Herrera suspended and Pogba out of form, there's just no telling.
United need a calming and experienced presence in midfield and, with Michael Carrick on the fringes of the squad, Mourinho would be wise to slowly integrate the German playmaker.
Like Ballack, Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer recently voiced his support for Schweinsteiger and will be pleased with the outcome.
"I really hope Bastian gets some consideration soon," he said. "We all know he's one of the best midfielders in the world.
"He belongs on the field for Manchester United and not training individually."
