Goldberg made his second appearance on Monday Night Raw in three weeks as he returned to hype up his match with Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series.

However, shortly after he started talking to the audience, he was rudely interrupted by Brock Lesnar's advocate Paul Heyman, who had a few words to say to Goldberg.

After making his way down to the ring, Heyman ran the promo with Goldberg and discussed the upcoming match at this month's pay-per-view.

Heyman then teased Goldberg and the entire WWE Universe by suggesting his client didn't want to wait until Survivor Series.

After introducing Lesnar and The Beast's music playing, Goldberg was visibly ready to go to war, only to realise that Heyman was joking, which ticked the former WCW Champion off.

Someone did eventually come down to the ring, however, but it was former United States Champion Rusev, who took a Jackhammer for his troubles, albeit after a botched attempt at a scrap.

It was the Bulgarian Brute who made the first move, punching Goldberg in the face, but what went down after was rather forgettable.

In fact, Goldberg fell over whilst trying to attack Rusev before eventually getting to his feet and hitting the Bulgarian with a Jackhammer.

Attentions then turned to Heyman, who doesn't usually get into physical altercations, but this was an exception, as he took a spear from Goldberg which sent him to a local hospital.

A first glimpse of Goldberg getting physical again in WWE was probably a forgettable glimpse, and he's even taken to Twitter to mock his own performance.

He posted: "Ring rust...it happens", after WWE shared the video of him colliding with Rusev and Heyman.

He wasn't the only person to take to Twitter, however, as Rusev also commented on what went down during the segment.

He said: "Ha! @Goldberg knows that SPEARS don't faze me! That JACKHAMMER though .......hats off to him. He still got it. Btw I can still crush him."

Let's hope Goldberg's shaken off that rust come Survivor Series.
