When most people think of the WWE, no matter what generation you may be, Hulk Hogan springs to mind.

The Hulkster was the main event star that built the company into a worldwide sensation and can justifiably claim he made WrestleMania the success it is today.

Even when he jumped to WCW, Hulkamania reinvented itself as Hollywood Hulk Hogan and pulled off the most stunning heel turn in wrestling history, forming the New World Order in the process, also, arguably, the greatest stable in wrestling history.

The Immortal former 12-time world champion has been exiled from the WWE since the summer of 2015 after a controversial footage of him making an anti-black tirade on his leaked sex tape.

However, one of his NWO co-founders, Scott Hall, believes there is a way back to the WWE for the 63-year-old Hogan. Speaking to Justin Barrasso at Sports Illustrated, Hall insisted that circumstances got on top of Hogan and led to his out-of-character rant.

“Yes, Hulk will be back. After a thirty-three year relationship with the WWE, he had a bad day—and that bad day was nearly ten years ago. That sex tape happened during a brutal time in his life. He was going through a divorce, his son Nick was in a car crash, paralysed his buddy, and was facing jail time.

"His daughter was starting her hip-hop career, and Hulk was backing that, paying money out of his own pocket for that. The whole world was coming down on him, and he slipped up. He said the wrong thing. I’ve been around Hulk a lot and never seen that side of him. I’ve only seen a kind, generous guy. If the door is not open for him, it should be.”

Hogan has just made $31 million in the settlement against Gawker, the company who released his sex tape and that is sure to go some way to easing his woes. But, a return to the WWE is something he reportedly still dearly craves.
