The WWE are masters of making scenarios that get the fans invested.
For instance, Ric Flair has 16 world title reigns. With John Cena sitting on 15, whenever he has a title shot the company are wise to let people know he is trying to make history.
One of the biggest marketing miracles the WWE ever pulled off, though, was The Undertaker's undefeated WrestleMania streak.

The Deadman went 21-0 at the annual event before Brock Lesnar snapped that streak at WrestleMania 30 over two years ago.
After defeating Bray Wyatt and Shane McMahon at subsequent 'Mania's, Taker now boasts a record of 23-1 and fans have tuned in every year to see who can take down The Phenom.
It appears as though the WWE have a similar idea in mind for one of their current superstars, WWE Raw Women's champion Charlotte.
This past Monday on Raw, the WWE made sure to mention that Charlotte - daughter of Ric Flair - is undefeated on pay-per-view since her debut on the main roster back in July of 2015.
She has won 14 consecutive PPV matches and there is good reason for it.
The idea is to have a challenger defeat the two-time Women's champion to gain credibility with a win over Charlotte after she goes on a long streak of pay-per-view wins, possibly at WrestleMania.
According to NoDQ.com, the company feels that building up Charlotte with wins, and having her later defeated would not just elevate her position on the roster, but also help push another female Superstar in the company with a win over her on a big stage.
It makes sense that the WWE would do this. It adds a layer of intrigue to her matches and, of course, both of Sasha Banks' title wins over Charlotte came on Monday Night Raw.
