There's are few things more frustrating that picking up a red card on FIFA 17. It's often enough to see controllers thrown across the room and games disconnected.
So we can only imagine what one poor bloke was thinking this week when he was on the end of one of the more bizarre yet brilliant red card scenarios we've seen on the popular EA Sports game.
It was poor old Gerard Pique who saw red during a virtual El Clasico encounter between Real Madrid and Barcelona. However, it was our good friend the FIFA 17 glitch that made the moment so brilliant thanks to the rather unusual antics of Marcelo.
Now, with the below video only kicking in as the referee jogs over to Pique to dish out a second yellow card to the defender in in the 81st minute - this is the El Clasico after all - we can't be sure how deserving the Spaniard was to be given his marching orders.
What we can be sure of, though, is that if Marcelo acted like he does in the video below the Madrid star himself could have been following Pique down the tunnel - most likely chased by several members of the Barca squad.
The glitch is so perfect that it looks like the Brazilian full-back has gone into full troll mode. And, if you were the user who had selected Barcelona, that is probably exactly how you'd feel as you watched Marcelo mimic the referee.
The incident brings to mind a famous incident in real-life involving England eccentric Paul Gascoigne back in his Rangers days.
The former midfielder famously picked up a yellow card that had fallen from a referee's pocket and jokingly booked the official, only to be handed a yellow card for his troubles.
Now, we all know that FIFA 17 is the most high-tech version of the video game to hit the shelves yet. But surely incorporating classic Gazza moments and El Clasico trolling into the equation is a step too far, even for them.
