The NFL was finally treated to a decent Thursday Night Football game this week between two NFC South divisional rivals the Atlanta Falcons, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Falcons were the victors in this game as they won by a scoreline of 43-28 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, much to the disappointment of their fellow divisional competitors. Yet, it would be the Buccaneers that produced one of the best moments of the game.

More specifically, their wide receiver Mike Evans, who managed to pull off one of the best catches you shall see all season.

During the third quarter of Thursday night’s game with Tampa Bay on a 3rd and 10, on their own 42-yard line, quarterback Jameis Winston connected with the 23-year-old for an important conversion beyond the first down marker to extend their drive.

Evans stunningly caught the ball 'Odell Beckham Jr. style' with only one hand at the Falcons' 42-yard line, before being hit out of bounds by Atlanta safety Keanu Neal. Miraculously, he managed to hold onto the football while being hit, giving the Bucs a fresh set of downs.

The wide receiver executed each component to this one-handed catch play to perfection despite the big hit. He played on for a bit before rightfully being pulled out of the game and entered into concussion protocol for his own safety due to the hit he took during this play.

Atlanta Falcons v Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Unfortunately, Tampa Bay was unable to cap off the drive with a score, but it's pretty safe to say that this past Thursday night hosted the best catch of the 2016 NFL season so far.

Stand aside Odell Beckham, there is a new kid on the block and his name is Mike Evans. Fingers crossed he'll be able to produce some more incredible catches next week when the Bucs play against the Chicago Bears.
