WrestleMania has always been the WWE's biggest pay-per-view of the year, where they always put on the best show possible and attempt to bring in some of the biggest names in wrestling history.
According to sources, however, the company wants to go one step further than that next when WrestleMania is hosted in Orlando, Florida.
The Observer has stated, via Cageside Seats, that the WWE is trying to get a UFC star to appear on the prestigious pay-per-view in 2017, although they didn't state which fighter it would be.

Nevertheless, if you are a fan of WWE, UFC, or both, you can pretty much infer there are only two possible people this fighter could be. Ronda Rousey or Conor McGregor, who have both had their tangles with the company over the past couple of years.
If you remember back to WrestleMania 31, Rousey made an appearance alongside The Rock to sweep Triple H and Stephanie McMahon outside of the ring. This looked like a promising storyline, but it never really came to fruition largely because Rowdy was still signed with UFC.
As for McGregor, he recently had his tangles with a couple of WWE superstars over Twitter after he tweeted that they were all derogatory terms earlier this year. If there was any company that would use these exchanges to their full extent, it would be the WWE.
Out of the two, it's more believable that Rousey would be the UFC star to appear at WrestleMania 33 next year because of Stephanie McMahon recently saying in an interview with TMZ that once Rowdy's deal with the promotion is over, they'll be doing their very best to sign her.
Either way, it certainly would be exciting to see either one of them inside a WWE ring on the grandest wrestling stage of them all.
