Many fans still believe that Monday Night Raw left the WWE draft with the better roster compared to SmackDown Live, with massive names such as Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar appearing exclusively on the red brand.
Obviously, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan managed to secure some major coups of their own in the pre-planned split, with AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose and John Cena now appearing on Tuesday nights.
NXT also lost some massive stars in the form of Finn Balor, as well as Bayley after the draft took place, and now the NXT roster also looks a little depleted.

However, that hasn’t stopped people from asking who else the general managers would love to bring up from developmental, and Bryan shared his views on who he would draft to SmackDown when speaking to Ringside Collectibles.
With a handful of bona fide NXT stars remaining, Bryan would like Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe to become SmackDown Live superstars.
He said: “That’s really, really tough. I would love to have Nakamura just became I roomed with him for a long time, well, not a long time, a short time actually, but I’ve known him for a long time.
“And Samoa Joe too, there are so many great people down there.
“The women’s champion Asuka is really good, I love Austin Aries, Bobby Roode is really good, there are so many good guys down there, it is hard to pick just two.”
ONE MORE MATCH?
Bryan also picked out The King of Strong Style as one of the many opponents he’d love to wrestle one more match with, although he understands the WWE won’t allow him to compete in another match.
He added: “I don’t think WWE would let me do another match.
“It would be hard to say which one person I would want to wrestle because there are so many people. Between Nakamura, AJ Styles, and guys who have come up to WWE since I’ve been gone.
“Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, guys that I’ve known for a long time. Even someone that I’ve wrestled multiple times on WWE like Cesaro, I’d love to wrestle him again. It’s a really tough call.”
With no plans to call-up Nakamura to the main roster anytime soon, perhaps Samoa Joe could be the next NXT star we see competing on SmackDown Live.
