Randy Savage is one of the most memorable WWE Superstars to have ever graced a ring for the company and before his tragic passing back in 2011, it seems that Savage had an epic plan for a final run in WWE.
The former World Champion was rightfully inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2015, but it seems that it is another WWE Hall of Famer that Savage was hoping to share a WWE ring with for the final time.
Macho Man's brother 'The Genius' Lanny Poffo has finally revealed the plans that his brother had before his tragic death five years ago, and it seems that he wanted his final WWE performance to be a gimmick match at WrestleMania.

SHOWDOWN WITH SHAWN MICHAELS
Lanny Poffo recently appeared on Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman's podcast and revealed that his late, great brother was making plans to face Shawn Michaels in a career vs hair match at a future WrestleMania event.
He commented: "He started getting that, maybe I'm not too old. Maybe I can have one more match. He was always known for his match with Ricky Steamboat. So he thought that he could possibly start a little something with Shawn Michaels, and then have a two year program, then have the showdown at WrestleMania."
This was arround the time that Randy had become part of the announce team and it seems that this played a role in the outcome that he had planned. "His intention was to have a Hair vs. Career match, where Shawn Michaels would shave his head or Randy would give up his career and go to the announcing booth."

RANDY SAVAGE AND RICKY STEAMBOAT
Lanny also shared that Randy wanted to end his career with a much better match than the one he had with Ricky Steamboat.
Sadly Randy never had the chance before his shocking death, but it seems that Savage was able to make amends with many wrestlers before he died, including Hulk Hogan.
His brother told Waltman that the former Intercontinental Champion was able to make amends with many of the wrestlers that he had on his 'block list,' it seems that it was a chance meeting with Hulk Hogan at the Cardiologists that allowed the pair to finally settle their differences.
