John Cena has been on hiatus from WWE for the past few weeks and it was recently announced that the 15 time WWE Champion will not be making a return at Survivor Series in less than three weeks time either.
Cena is currently filming the new series of American Grit and isn't expected to return to WWE until the Royal Rumble in January.
According to a report by Four3Four regarding the former United States Champion's return match, all seem to be point towards Baron Corbin.

HUGE PUSH FOR BARON CORBIN?
A match with someone of John Cena's pedigree for Baron Corbin would be a huge boost for him after he has seemingly floated around WWE's mid-card since he won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale back in April.
Corbin has recently picked up his feud with the returning Kalisto at recent live shows, but it would be interesting to see where WWE push the former NXT Superstar ahead of such a high-profile match.
This would undoubtedly be the biggest match of Corbin's career and WWE would have to ensure that he was prepared for this kind of push.
THIRTY YEARS OF THE ROYAL RUMBLE
WWE are obviously hoping that next year's Royal Rumble is the biggest in the event's history since they will be celebrating 30 years of the 30 man over the top rope battle royale.
The annual pay-per-view is already shaping up to be quite the event with recent rumours suggesting that Shawn Michaels could be making a return to face AJ Styles and the likes of Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Sting could all be in attendance at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
