With Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino attacking with such pace for Liverpool, it can be very difficult to keep up.
You may need a couple of replays to see an amazing piece of skill or a class touch from one of the trio.
In fact, it’s taken four whole days for Liverpool fans to realise a piece of brilliance from Mane during their 6-1 thrashing over Watford on Sunday.
Liverpool were already 4-0 ahead and heading to the top of the Premier League and Mane was already on the scoresheet, so it was no surprise to see a few party tricks coming to the fore.
Mane was the man to make it 5-0 when he applied the finish from Roberto Firmino’s low-cross. However, the former Southampton star played a large part in the build-up, without even touching the ball.
Liverpool’s official Twitter account has just uploaded a video of Mane allowing Jordan Henderson’s pass to run through his legs and into the path of Firmino. It was something that went completely unnoticed during the match and during any replays and highlights of the match.
And, after it was drawn to the attention of Liverpool fans, they were quick to admit they had completely missed it. Check out the brilliant dummy from Mane and the reaction from Liverpool fans on Twitter:
It was great vision from Mane, who then showed the desire to get into the box and score his second goal of the match.
The Senegalese international has been a revelation since his former move from the Saints, scoring six goals in 10 league appearances.
However, supporters are already dreading when the 24-year-old will team up with his national side to compete in the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon. To make matters worse, Mane will be missing matches against Manchester United and Chelsea, while he would also be unavailable for an FA Cup fixture and both legs of the EFL Cup semi-finals - should Liverpool reach those rounds.
It takes us four days to identify a piece of skill Mane pulled off, so what hope do defenders have when playing against him?
