One of the biggest talking points coming out of the brand split and the WWE Draft was the fact Finn Balor earned himself a promotion from NXT to Monday Night Raw.
The former NXT Champion was in the first section of picks for Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon, only coming behind Seth Rollins and Charlotte, but since then his career has massively stalled due to a serious injury.
Balor was competing for the new WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam against Raw's number one pick Rollins, and after being hit by a running powerbomb, Balor tore a rotator cuff in his shoulder.

Despite continuing the match and actually going on to beat Rollins, Balor had to relinquish the title the following night on Monday Night Raw.
Balor gave over the title, which was later won by Kevin Owens, and began the long road to recovery.

This was the second rotator cuff injury to damage WWE's plans as Shelton Benjamin had the same injury which prevented him from making a long-awaited return to SmackDown LIVE.
With The Demon King being sidelined for the past couple of months, it has been speculated about when he will actually make his return to the squared circle.
The initial return date was set for WrestleMania 33, but then some reports emerged claiming he could return in time for January's Royal Rumble.
Those reports were then further met with speculation that he could make a shock return at WWE Roadblock next month.
However, Balor himself has quashed those rumours, insisting that it was old advertisement and a mistake that had slipped through the cracks.
He told ScreenGeek.net: “So I believe a lot of rumors went around this week about Finn Balor possibly returning at Roadblock, I think that was literally just a mistake that had been submitted before Summerslam, and that was the projected card, and it hasn’t been updated yet, so that was probably just an advertisement that slipped through the cracks.
"I can 100% guarantee – what date is Roadblock? December 18th? I will 100% guarantee that I will be home with my family and friends at Christmas. I will be back in 2017.”
