After his dominating show at UFC 205 during the press conference and fight with Eddie Alvarez, Conor McGregor has once again been the talk of the town.

However, it's not been talk of his UFC future, it's been all about whether he could swap the octagon for the squared circle of WWE.

McGregor has been heavily linked with making a surprise appearance in World Wrestling Entertainment like Ronda Rousey did at WrestleMania a couple of years ago.

With Rousey appearing and Brock Lesnar pulling double duty in recent months, it's believed WWE and UFC have a strong working relationship with each other, and that could see the Irishman make a surprise appearance.

Notorious has been very vocal about WWE in recent months, especially regarding the entire roster, but that might not stop a future appearance from taking place.

According to numerous reports, WWE officials are still very much keen on getting McGregor on one of their shows, whether it be a Monday Night Raw or a big pay-per-view like WrestleMania.

Since then, Triple H has also confirmed that McGregor would suit WWE because he has everything, and now legendary Jim Ross has had his say on the situation.

Posting in his blog, Jim Ross discussed Notorious and his possible future in WWE, and he admitted that the UFC star will likely be on top of WWE's wishlist.

However, he believes they'd have to pay big bucks in order to get him on a show.

Ross said: “McGregor is the “King of the World” right now and would likely be on top of WWE’s ‘hit list’ to be a future Wrestlemania celeb participant.

"He’d likely cost them “Tyson Money” to get the deal done but it’s obvious that the talented Irishman is a businessman who covets the big money. Nothing wrong with that by the way, Plus, Conor sells tickets and PPV’s.”
