Minnesota Vikings fans actually celebrated Blair Walsh being released

It's a pretty cut-throat world in the the life of a kicker in the National Football League. 

No starting position in the league sees as much turnover as the kicker and Blair Walsh learnt that this week after one miss too many saw him relieved of his duties by Mike Zimmer and the Minnesota Vikings.

Vikings fans haven't forgotten Walsh's game-losing miss against the Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game, combined with his poor kicking in 2016, and they took to Twitter to roast the now-unemployed Walsh.

The fans didn't exactly react with much sincerity, though. Instead, they went absolutely savage and celebrated like they'd won that game against the Seahawks.

Since announcing the release of Walsh, the Vikings have brought in former Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys kicker Kai Forbath, who is now on his 5th team since being an undrafted free agent out of UCLA in 2011. Let's hope he doesn't get the Walsh treatment.
