While he’s busy getting ready for his second TakeOver event in his hometown, Bobby Roode has been speaking about who he thinks are the best wrestlers on the planet today.

Roode has quickly risen to the top of NXT, and despite not being in title contention just yet, it’s expected he’ll be there once his feud with Tye Dillinger comes to an end.

TOP NXT STAR

Many believe he belongs on the main roster and should have skipped NXT altogether, but his presence along with the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe gives the brand some legitimacy.

But all of that comes later. For now, he’ll be forced to watch the main roster stars battle it out at Survivor Series the following night.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Roode has listed the three stars he believes to be the best right now, and all of them will be in action this Sunday.

Despite working with some huge names over in TNA and elsewhere, Roode has selected AJ Styles, Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler as the three greatest performers today.

AJ ONE OF THE BEST

He said: “That’s a really tough question.

“Obviously AJ Styles is one, Seth Rollins is another guy that’s really good, and I’ve always been a big fan of Dolph Ziggler’s work.

“I think he’s amazing, and I would love the opportunity to work with him. It’s so hard to pick just three guys.

"Being in the WWE and having a look at the roster of NXT, SmackDown, and Raw, there are just a plethora of guys I would love to do some stuff with.

“But if I have to give you three names, it’s AJ, Seth, and Dolph.

You can’t argue with his choices; Styles is seen as one of the greatest of all time and the two have history from their days in TNA.

Rollins is also considered a fine talent, and someone to lead the next generation of stars, while Ziggler has always been one of the most underrated performers from the entire roster.
