Despite suffering losses in the women's and tag team elimination matches, Team Smackdown came out on top in the men's contest.
In a match that took over an hour of the show, we saw Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, Shane McMahon and AJ Styles emerge victorious.
It came down to Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt as the last two men standing in the end for Team Smackdown with Roman Reigns suffering the final pin-fall.
The match all turned upon the surprise arrival of Luke Harper, who made the numbers game work in the advantage of Smackdown.
The Wyatt Family would emerge victorious over the former Shield members and the match would give the WWE Universe two moments that they will surely savour.
Seth Rollins' elimination was certainly memorable as the Architect - taking a leap off of the top rope was caught by Randy Orton who turned it into an RKO.
Return of the Hounds
The biggest moment in the match however saw a Shield reunion as once again at Survivor Series Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose worked together.
Dean Ambrose was eliminated after being attacked by his team-mate AJ Styles earlier in the match - something the Lunatic Fringe wouldn't forget.
He would come out later int he match and attack Styles, only to be forcible removed by a combination of security and referees.
Or so they tried, Rollins and Reigns would aid their former Shield brother and all three would deliver their infamous triple power-bomb to Styles through an announce table.
