Shane McMahon picked up a very nasty injury on Sunday during WWE's Survivor Series which left a lot of people in attendance and watching the pay-per-view at home scared for his safety.
Shane picked up the head injury during the men's five-on-five traditional Survivor Series Team Raw vs. Team Smackdown match when he went to perform a coast-to-coast dropkick on Roman Reigns off the top rope when The Big Dog caught him with a spear.
He landed on his head and was unresponsive, causing the referee to eliminate him from the match. Many fans were concerned for his safety including Shane McMahon's son, but Randy Orton did something amazing to help.

While Shane was being evaluated and helped to the back by the referees, The Viper broke kayfabe to talk and console Shane's son. It was even caught during WWE's Survivor Series coverage on the WWE Network as seen in the tweet below.
This wasn't the way which the company wanted Shane-O-Mac to be eliminated from the match, but as for any superstar, their health and safety come first, so the WWE made the right decision to pull him there and then.
According to a report by NoDQ, at this present moment of time, Shane is okay, but it isn't confirmed if he did suffer a concussion from the spot. What is likely to happen is if Shane did suffer a concussion, he will likely be given the week off and won't appear on SmackDown this week.
It shouldn't affect his competing status anyways as the last time he had a match before Survivor Series was WrestleMania 32. If the WWE does allow him to work, there will probably be a no-contact restriction on him until he is cleared from his concussion.
Fingers crossed Shane-O-Mac is okay and that this injury doesn't stop him from competing in the ring in the future.
