It seems like there will be no end to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s continual pursuit of UFC featherweight and lightweight champion, Conor McGregor.
Since creating history earlier this month by knocking out Eddie Alvarez inside Madison Square Garden, plenty of fighters have stepped forward in the hope of standing opposite him in the Octagon.
CALLING OUT THE IRISHMAN
Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley and Nurmagomedov have remained the more vocal fighters, but the Irishman has offered very little in terms of creating a buzz for a potential clash down the line.

The Eagle has been relentless since UFC 205, numerous callouts and insults have been thrown around, but Notorious simply isn’t engaging in any of it.
However, Nurmagomedov has decided to take a different approach this week in the hope of getting a response.
Nurmagomedov posted a screenshot of a private Twitter conversation with McGregor on Wednesday.
"DIE LIKE A SAMURAI"
Following a friendly exchange back in 2014 with the unbeaten Dagestani asking for some rehab tips, he’s now issued a challenge to McGregor to step up.
In a message he posted on Sunday, he said: “Conor you [are] the champion, you need to fight with me.
“If you run, every time you look in the mirror you [are] not going to respect yourself, your kids not going to respect you, your friends, your family won’t respect you.
“Die like a Samurai, don’t chicken out, please. I know I’m a bad matchup for you, but you [are] the champion and you need to fight the best. It’s OK. Die like an Irish warrior, don’t run like a chicken.
“Irish people have history and fight for a long time; you need to represent your people with honour.”
Based on the screenshot he has provided; it looks as if McGregor is yet to respond.
But it Nurmagomedov continues with antics like this – perhaps the same things McGregor also does – then it won’t be long before fans call for the Irishman to fight him, and it may even stop him from uploading images stating he has no competition.
