Millwall midfielder Dave Brammer has joined Port Vale on a month`s loan.

The veteran, who is yet to feature for the Lions this term, has been training with the League Two side this week.

Brammer goes straight into the squad for the trip to Lincoln and he is delighted to be back at the club where he spent over two years from 1999 to 2001, telling Vale's official site: "Coming back here has been great. I thought it would be stranger than this but it hasn't been that bad at all."

He added: "I have had a great welcome from everybody and there are a few familiar faces in the backroom staff, and of course Barbara in the laundry room.

"It has all helped me settle in quickly and obviously I knew the way here. Anybody will tell you they are happier when they get the chance to play football, so hopefully I won't go home moody anymore."
