Louis Saha grabbed his first goal for Everton since his summer move from Manchester United to give the Toffees a 1-0 win against Fulham.

Everton had toiled painfully for their breakthrough in a scrappy match, and their only serious effort prior to Saha's 87th minute header had been a first-half effort from Marouane Fellaini that hit a post.

Fulham struck the woodwork twice in the second period through Jimmy Bullard and Bobby Zamora.
