With Roadblock: End of the Line quickly approaching, rumours have circulated for the past month that Roman Reigns will be challenging Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship.
The same speculated stories have suggested that the event will also feature Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho going at it, following interactions between the four over the last few weeks.
TITLE CHANGE COMING?
However, based on what we’ve seen at recent live events, there could be some big changes coming our way as the Raw exclusive pay-per-view approaches.

In the last few live events, it’s been reported that Reigns has been defending his United States Championship successfully against Owens.
While it makes complete sense to have Reigns leave with his title, it’s often very rare to see the main champion of a brand continue to lose to somebody holding the lesser title, on paper.

The Inquisitr are now reporting that Reigns could be dropping his championship relatively soon.
Not to Owens, though, but to his best friend, Jericho.
He’s quickly become the most over star in all of the company with his change of character and his list, and those efforts could soon be rewarded with a title win, meaning he and Owens could hold titles at the same time.
NEXT US CHAMP?
Last week, it looked as if we were going to witness the eventual break-up, only for them to blame Reigns for their Survivor Series loss.
But with the success they’re having, it looks as if Jericho is sticking around for longer than anticipated, and a title win can open up plenty more opportunities heading into 2017.
It’s thought that while he can help others on the roster emerge as serious contenders, he could then eventually move on to a feud with Owens, something that is bound to happen before his current stint with the company comes to an end.
Over the weekend, it was reported that either John Cena or Jericho are seen as the early favourites to win the Royal Rumble, and a win for the latter could set-up an eventual Universal title clash with his best friend at WrestleMania.
Plus, with Reigns’ speculated WrestleMania 33 match being against Braun Strowman, perhaps losing the title next month will do him no harm.
