The Golden State Warriors have been looking pretty unbeatable in recent weeks. Heading into Thursday night's game with the Houston Rockets, the 2015 champions were on a 12-game winning streak.

However, Mike D'Antoni's team waltzed into the Oracle Arena and came out with a double-overtime win thanks to a brilliant triple-double from James Harden - his fourth of the season.

The converted point guard had 29 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists as the Texas-based organisation won their first game against the Bay Area team since being dumped out of the playoffs last season.

Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon also had big shooting nights for the Rockets as they finished with 29 and 23 respectively.

A 39-point outing from Kevin Durant, who had a double-double thanks to his 13 rebounds, was not enough for the Warriors as Draymond Green came and assist away from a triple-double and Stephen Curry fouled out.

However, defence was the major issue for the Dubs as they gave up a whopping 132 points on their home court and could not find an answer to Harden, who was running the game at his own pace.

Social media users are quick to react to anything in the modern era, and it's fair to say there was no shortage of activity during and after the Warriors' third loss of the season.
