Millwall have completed the signing of QPR midfielder Adam Bolder on a one-month loan deal.

The 28-year-old has also been given permission to play for the Lions in their FA Cup trip to Chester this weekend.

Bolder has made 42 appearances for Rangers since joining from Derby in January 2007.

But he slipped down the pecking down the pecking order following the arrival of the numerous new faces at Loftus Road and spent the end of last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday.

This season Bolder has appeared just once for the Hoops, as a substitute in the Carling Cup win over Carlisle in August.

Lions boss Kenny Jackett said: "I'm looking for Adam to play a holding role in midfield for us. Positionally he can give us something we have missed so far this season."
