Walsall have terminated the contract of troubled winger Ishmel Demontagnac.
Manager Jimmy Mullen voiced his latest frustrations with Demontagnac following Saturday's FA Cup exit to Scunthorpe in which the 20-year-old saw red for an off-the-ball incident just eight minutes after coming on as a substitute.
A club statement read: "Walsall football club can confirm that the playing contract of Ishmel Demontagnac has been terminated. The decision has been taken as a result of a series of serious breaches of club discipline culminating in an incident at the weekend which required the intervention of West Midlands Police and resulted in his subsequent arrest."
The dismissal was the latest in a long line of disciplinary problems associated with the youngster, who has also been heavily criticised for not producing his unquestionable talent on a more regular basis.
