Mahon focussed on league

Burnley midfielder Alan Mahon insists the Coca-Cola Championship is of far greater significance to his side than the Carling Cup.

The Clarets' reward for beating Chelsea is a home draw against Arsenal next month but Mahon says they will not even think about the quarter-final until the days leading up to the game.

"The league is our bread and butter," said Mahon. "It has to be about now and each game that comes up."
